Caresfield’s Recent Charitable Donations

At Caresfield, one of our core values is our commitment to caring. As part of our Caresfield Cares program, we recently made some charitable donations:

Lakeville Fire Dept

Earlier this month, Caresfield donated $3,000 to the Lakeville Fire Department. With our headquarters in Lakeville, Minnesota, we wanted to thank these hardworking heroes for keeping our community safe.

CEO Ron Griffith and COO Steve Griffith presented the charitable donation to the Lakeville Fire Department.

Alight Tourniquet Donation

When Russia invaded Ukraine, many organizations stepped up to donate funds and essential supplies. We were thrilled to provide disposable tourniquets to Alight, a humanitarian organization that provides aid to refugees. The tourniquets will be used for people on the border of Poland and Ukraine.

CP the penguin helped pack our donation of disposable tourniquets for Alight.

“On behalf of my team, we thank you for your generosity and kindness. We can’t thank you enough for donating the tourniquets to the Ukraine refugee who is going through hardship at this time. Again, we thank you for your thoughtfulness and kindness.”

Doctors Without Borders

As part of the Cares program in March, we donated $5,000 to Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF). At the time of the donation, a spokesperson provided an update on what their physicians are dealing with in the Ukraine:

“With active fighting ongoing, determining the true extent of medical needs in Ukraine remains challenging. Our teams are preparing for a wide range of scenarios to make sure we’re ready to adapt our response as necessary. This interview with our deputy head of emergency programs explains how we are addressing those challenges.”

Read more about the donation on our blog.  In a follow-up conversation, a spokesperson added:

“In 2022, we remain as committed as ever to doing whatever it takes to deliver quality medical and humanitarian aid to the people who need it most. With your company’s support, MSF teams continue our lifesaving work throughout the world – providing medical care and supplies to those affected by the conflict in Ukraine; offering medical and mental healthcare for asylum seekers in Brazil; providing comprehensive care to people displaced by extreme violence in Democratic Republic of Congo; treating children for malnutrition in Afghanistan, and much more.”

We are proud to be a caring part of the healthcare community! We hope you will check out our 2021 Caresfield Cares schedule and sign up for updates below.
